Megan Edwards Editor and Director

Megan is the Editor and Director of Mining IQ and is responsible for the content, delivery and overall strategy of Mining IQ. Megan has worked in the energy events industry for the past five years, working across the Mining and Metals, Energy and Oil & Gas industries in Europe, Australia, Asia and the USA. Megan has spent the last two years developing a portfolio of senior level technical and strategic conferences for the mining industry in Australia. She now manages a portfolio of over 35 mining conferences per year, spanning a variety of key issues in the mining industry.

Since starting to organise conferences for the minerals sector, Megan has been actively engaged in researching, networking with and creating a solid knowledge base of what drives this market and their principal challenges.

She is responsible for the ongoing growth of this portfolio, and ensuring Mining IQ continues to deliver value, content and vital learning opportunities for mining executives and engineers on a global scale.

Jacqueline Bran Content Director

As Content Director of Mining IQ, Jacqueline is responsible for creating and sourcing relevant and engaging content to feature on the site. Jacqueline brings with her a wealth of experience in editorial content management and the Mining industry. Jacquie’s role is to ensure that the content on this site is relevant, current and updated regularly to ensure that Mining IQ delivers values to its readership and members.

Jacqueline has over three years experience managing and sourcing content for the mining and construction industries and over ten years experience researching into these industries to determine the relevance of information and challenges facing a marketplace.

Siân Jenkins Marketing Strategist

Siân is responsible for building and implementing the marketing strategy for Mining IQ in order to grow the membership base and actively engage current members.

She has over 6 years experience in marketing senior level conferences, exhibitions, seminars and tradeshows in a variety of industries, including mining, oil and gas, finance, legal, insurance, and pharmaceuticals.

Siân has a strong focus on growing partnerships and industry collaboration through the Mining IQ portal and event series and is always keen to hear from any mining industry organisations or media who may have an interest in working with Mining IQ.
