As we've reported before, the Queensland government has decided to reverse its 30 year old ban on uranium mining.

Queensland Premier Campbell Newman said strong support for the uranium industry by the Federal Government has helped the decision.
Although Australia does not use nuclear power, it is the world's third-ranking uranium producer behind Kazakhstan and Canada. In 2010, we exported 6,888 tonnes of oxide concentrate worth more than AUD $600 million.
Minister for Natural Resources and Mines Andrew Cripps said the uranium deposits in the state were worth an estimated $10 billion .
The Queensland government's controversial decision follows NSW's path, when in Feburary it decided to overturn its quarter-century ban on uranium exploration. Victoria is now the only Australian state with a total ban on uranium mining or exploration.
Concerns about uranium mining are mostly environmental.
Here's what various people have said on social media about the Queensland government's decision.
