I like your ninth point. I train dump truck operators and some of them dont last two weeks because it was different to what they expected! They didnt like the long hours, or being away from family, the basic accommodation etc. It's not a holiday resort, you are there to work. It makes it more pleasureable if you actually enjoy it first. I started 7 years ago and have never looked back because I always look forward to going to my stress free job.
