The first thing is that it's around rule of man, not rule of law. It's all around relationships and connections, and so it's a different playing field to what we normally expect in the Western legal system. It's a shame, not a guilt-faced culture, face is very important.

There are different rules for operating here. The other thing too is that there's incredible capacity in capability but overall, I find that a lot of suppliers are immature in terms of their commercial skills, their project management skills, their understanding of customer drivers and standards for products for mining export versus products for use in China.
