Mining IQ reached the half-way point for The Weird and Wonderful World of Mining as today they present edition 3. This week includes the chapters Longest/ Deepest / Most Productive and Famous People in Mining.

The first chapter explores the impressive mining achievements for the longest and deepest mining activities, while the second is dedicated to fame in the world of mining and provides the perfect knowledge to complement your next dinner party.

The Weird and Wonderful World of Mining has now had over 2000 people download and enjoy it. Jack Caldwell of I Think Mining Blog says "It is easy to download and to read. And it is fun–well just maybe sometimes dispiriting. Sad facts about horrendous mining accidents, child labor in the old mines, and ugly big diamonds of no use to anyone I know."

The fourth and last edition will be released 11th December, 2012 with the eBook to be released in its entirety in early 2013.

The Weird and Wonderful World of Mining is free and available for you to download now from www.miningiq.com.
